HOW DO I APPLY: First determine if the institution you are from is an EWCE Affiliate Educational Institution. You can determine if the institution is an EWCE Affiliate by emailing us at ewce@ewce.org or check the website at www.ewce.org and identifying your program or institution. Once you have determined that your institution is an EWCE Affiliate, complete the Student Application Process. All application materials must be received by EWCE by March 15 for that year’s grant. An appropriate official (dean, department chair, department head, president or director) must certify by the application. Contact information of the appropriate official certifying the application must be included as requested on the application form. The EWCE is not responsible for materials that are lost or delayed for any reason.
HOW WILL I BE NOTIFIED ABOUT MY GRANT STATUS: The EWCE Grant Committee will select recipients. The approval process for an EWCE grant usually requires three weeks, and applicants will be notified by post and e-mail, based on the contact information on the application form.
WHAT MATERIALS DO I SUBMIT: To be considered for an EWCE grant, applicants are asked to submit:
A. Application Form Complete the EWCE Student Grant Application Form available as a pdf on the link below. B. College Transcripts Attach an Academic Transcript from your college. The transcript must reflect at least four completed terms of a post-secondary degree program. EWCE does not require that these be official transcripts. However, if you submit unofficial transcripts, these must be certified by appropriate official (dean, department chair, department head, president or director) in your course of study. If you submit official transcripts that required that you pay a fee, this fee can be entered in the Grant Request Itemization Addendum for consideration as part of your grant request. Transcripts must be received by March 15.
C. Letters of Recommendation You must obtain references from two individuals. References should be people who can speak knowledgeably of your professional and academic experience, and of your qualifications for graduate study. Completed reference forms should be returned to you in sealed envelopes and included with your application form.
